Women of Diversity Productions, Inc announces the broadcast of Women of Persian Heritage, a documentary focusing
on the lives of eight Persian Women living in Nevada.  The interviewees discuss the challenges and solutions they face
straddling the traditional with the modern.  These women were born in Iran and became United States citizens during
adulthood. They discuss the challenges upon arriving in the United States, their education, their family, their work and
current concerns to the myths and violence pertaining to the people of Iran.  Each woman shares her philosophy and
the role of Persian culture in her life.


Women of Diversity produces documentaries to encourage intelligent and passionate dialogue between cultures and
genders.  In an ongoing series about the contributions of women, this video, Women of Persian Heritage is designed for
public viewing in classrooms, libraries and other public venues.  

Directed by award winning film maker, Marlene Adrian, Women of Diversity is making available two versions:  a
