The interviewees discuss the challenges and solutions they face straddling the traditional with the modern. These women were born in Iran and became United States citizens during adulthood. They discuss the challenges upon arriving in the United States, their education, their family, their work and current concerns to the myths and violence pertaining to the people of Iran. Each woman shares her philosophy and the role of Persian culture in her life.
